Casa en la Colina (House on the Hill) is located high on the hillside to capture the cool breezy trade winds that are present virtually year-round. Recently renovated all rooms have ceiling fans and sliding glass/screen doors to decks with awe inspiring down-island views. From your bed see the sunrise or full moon form a spotlight on the sea. Upper level has a great room - full kitchen/living/dining/desk area with a wrap-around covered deck for outdoor dining enjoyment. Lower level has both bedrooms, each with full bath, 2 dressers, full closets, doors to deck. Master bedroom has a queen bed. Second bedroom has a full bed and twin bed decorated in a Disney theme. Pack-n-Play crib available for the very young. Baby gate ablity to childproof the stairs. Outdoors has an open patio of handcrafted beach rocks, barbeque area, and benches. Convenient to shops and restaurants of Coral Bay and 10 minute drive to National Park beaches.

Over 2/3rds of St. John is preserved as National Park lands, beaches, and sea. This provides a multitude of beaches to cater to your every desire: shallow, calm, good snorkeling, seclusion, easy access, whatever you desire that day. The furthest beach is a twenty minute drive from the house - many closer. Hiking trails abound. Horseback riding, kayak/dingy rentals, day sails, fishing all available within 5 minutes of house. 7+ restaurants of every level of dining within 10 minutes. Mini-mart/groceries/movie rental 5 minutes away. Your vacation can be as laid back or adventure filled as you make it.

                May 16 - November 1, 2009     $1240/week; $210/night
